TIRANA, September 1 /ATA/ Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha met with Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker, on the sidelines of the Bled Strategic Forum.
In a post on social media, Hoxha wrote that, “Following our discussions in Washington last July, we reaffirmed the importance of the Albania-US strategic partnership and our shared commitment to further deepen our bilateral cooperation across areas of mutual interest.”
“During the meeting, we exchanged on defense and security cooperation, as well as our cooperation within NATO, particularly after Summit in Ankara and ahead of the upcoming Alliance Summit in Albania,” Hoxha emphasized.
Hoxha and Hooker also discussed the security environment and recent developments in the Western Balkans, reaffirming the importance of continued engagement in support of regional stability and security.
“Albania and the United States are united by a long-standing partnership rooted in shared democratic values, transatlantic solidarity, and a common commitment to security.
