TIRANA, Aug 26 /ATA/ – Investment in sports infrastructure has expanded recreational facilities for the community in the coastal city of Durrës.
Prime Minister Edi Rama on Wednesday shared images on social media of newly upgraded sports grounds featuring modern, safe and accessible facilities for children, young people and the wider community.
The new facilities, built to high standards, are being made available to professional athletes as well as children’s and youth teams.
The investment is expected to provide better conditions for sporting activities, encourage greater participation in sports and promote a more active and healthy lifestyle.
Creation of such spaces would also encourage young people to engage in regular physical activity.
