TIRANA, Aug. 24 /ATA/ – The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) has launched the seventh call for proposals for small-scale projects under Specific Objective 4.6 of the Greece-Albania IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme, offering new funding opportunities for projects promoting cross-border development and cooperation.
The call has a total budget of 2 million euros, with grants ranging from 120,000 to 400,000 euros per project. EU funds will cover 80% of the financing, with the remaining 20% provided through national funding.
The call targets projects focused on sustainable and cultural tourism, cultural and natural heritage, digitalisation, social innovation and regional development, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between cross-border areas in Albania and Greece.
AIDA said micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and other interested parties could access information on funding opportunities through its “Access to Finance” portal, including eligibility criteria and application requirements.
Projects must involve Albania-Greece partnerships and cross-border cooperation initiatives, and applicants are advised to check the eligibility requirements before applying.
Through the call, AIDA aims to improve businesses’ and institutions’ access to EU financial instruments and support projects contributing to economic, tourism and social development in cross-border areas.
