TIRANA, August 23 /ATA/ The 32nd International Horticultural Congress (IHC2026) is underway in Kyoto, Japan. Running through August 28, this premier global event brings together leading researchers, academics, and industry professionals.
Academician Nazim S. Gruda is representing Albania at the international congress.
During the event, he will deliver a keynote speech and lead a session on sustainable horticulture.
A major highlight will be his official confirmation as President of the Greenhouse and Indoor Production Horticulture Section of the ISHS for a new four-year term.
The Academy of Sciences notes that Acad. Gruda’s role in the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) highlights his global contributions and represents Albania proudly. This organization runs the IHC2026 Congress to connect researchers and share knowledge worldwide.
