Business damage tops 12M lekë amid protest violence

TIRANA, October 20 /ATSH/ – During eight days of violent protests in the capital, clashes caused widespread damage to local businesses. On-site data from the Tax Administration and reports filed through the ‘My damage’ portal on e-Albania show that 80 businesses were affected. According to TV Klan, the total reported damage has reached 12 million lekë.

The process of identifying and assessing the damage is currently ongoing—both on the ground, where the Tax Administration is conducting verifications through 10 specialized teams, and via reports submitted through “e-Albania.”

Through the “My damage” electronic service on the “e-Albania” platform, commercial entities can report damages sustained during the protests.

Businesses can declare the damage caused to their premises online by providing the required information.

Businesses are required to upload photographs of the damage, as well as any other supporting documentation that may serve to substantiate the reported situation. /e.i/r.e/p.s./
