TIRANA, Oct. 20 /ATA/ – The Albanian lek strengthened against major foreign currencies on the domestic exchange market on Tuesday.
According to the Bank of Albania’s official exchange rates, the euro traded at 90.77 leks, down 0.33 lek from the previous day, while the U.S. dollar fell by 0.38 lek to 80.90 leks.
The British pound and Swiss franc also weakened against the lek, declining by 0.32 lek and 0.46 lek, respectively.
Alongside developments in international markets, exchange rates are also influenced by domestic supply and demand, which determine currency fluctuations against the lek.
