TIRANA, July 29 /ATA/ Paving work is underway on the strategic Potom–Backa–Marta pass road. This modern infrastructure connects Skrapar and Korça closer together, promising smoother travel and lower transportation expenses.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared in the social media today a view of the works being carried out for the pavement of this road, while emphasizing that, “This investment will facilitate movement, as well as reduce transportation costs”.
“This investment will boost the local economy, create jobs for farmers and business owners, and unlock tourism growth in one of our country’s most scenic regions”, wrote Rama.
The Potom–Backa–Marta Pass road runs through the rugged mountains of Skrapar toward the Korça border near Ostrovica. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Ostrovica massif, this scenic route holds high potential for mountain and nature tourism.
