TIRANA, July 7 /ATA/ – Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha met with Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, and the accompanying delegation to discuss regional developments and opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation.
The two sides exchanged views on the latest regional developments and explored ways to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including tourism, economic ties and people-to-people exchanges.
Foreign Minister underscored the importance of dialogue and practical cooperation with regional partners, reaffirming Albania’s readiness to explore new avenues of partnership with the Kurdistan Region for the mutual benefit of both sides.
The interlocutors agreed that stronger economic, tourism and people-to-people links could help deepen mutual understanding, promote prosperity and reinforce regional cooperation.
