National Ensemble performs in London for the first time

TIRANA, June 30 /ATA/ Albanian heritage will speak the universal language of art in the heart of London.

The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet said that the National Ensemble of Songs and Dances will perform in the United Kingdom for the first time.

The performance will take place on July 6 at the Shaw Theatre in London, where the ensemble will present an evening blending Albanian cultural heritage with the vision and inspiration that Lord Byron found in Albania.

The audience will experience a journey through the history, traditions and spirit of a nation, conveyed through songs, dances, traditional costumes and the authentic sounds of Albanian folklore, which for centuries has captivated travellers, artists and scholars worldwide.

The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet (TKOBAP) said that “Zëri i Trashëgimisë” is an invitation to discover Albania through art, a cultural bridge between two countries, and a tribute to the extraordinary richness of the nation’s identity.
