Rama: Protesters and Albania will triumph together; dark forces that sought to manipulate us are doomed to fail

TIRANA, June 30 /ATA/ Citizens have a fundamental right to protest, regardless of who tries to manipulate their grievances, stated today Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“While the ruling party must use this time to reflect and get closer to the people, it is vital to distinguish between genuine citizen protests and the cynical political agendas that attempt to hijack them”, emphasized the prime minister.

Further on, he assured that, “We hear the sincere frustration of the people. We will take the real, everyday problems of the Albanian people and turn that sincere anger into the driving energy to secure our place in the European Union by 2030”, he stated further on.

“This group is being presented as a new political alternative, but we must see it for what it truly is: a gathering of angry individuals venting frustrations caused by their own shortcomings. It stands as the bleakest example of political opposition we have seen in 35 years”, added the prime minister.

According to Rama, “The profound takeaway of this protest will prove our enemies’ digital smear campaigns utterly futile. Ultimately, our governing majority will rise from this vortex stronger and more dedicated to serving the citizens. I believe the people and Albania will succeed together, leaving behind the dark, manipulative images that tried to divide us./m.m/p.s./
