TIRANA, June 27 /ATA/ – The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (AZHBR) has announced financial support of up to 500,000 leks per beneficiary under Albania’s 2026 national agriculture scheme for the mechanisation of agricultural and livestock farms.

The Agency said on Saturday that applications are open until July 6, targeting investments in equipment, machinery and tools aimed at modernising farms and improving productivity and efficiency.

Under the scheme, beneficiaries will be reimbursed at a rate of 50% of the total invoice value.

“Support ranges up to 500,000 lek per beneficiary and not less than 50,000 lek per beneficiary,” AZHBR said.

Applications for direct support measures can be submitted online via the e-Albania government portal, while investment-related applications must be filed physically at AZHBR headquarters.

The scheme is part of broader government efforts to modernize Albania’s agricultural sector and improve competitiveness through increased mechanisation and farm efficiency.
