TIRANA, June 16 /ATA/ Speaker of the Parliament Niko Peleshi held a meeting in The Hague with Chair of the Standing Committee on European Affairs in the Dutch House of Representatives Rachel van Meetelen.
The talks focused on the process of Albania’s European integration.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed ongoing reforms and Albania’s progress toward EU membership.
Peleshi said that the Netherlands’ reaffirmed support for Albania’s EU membership reflects a positive evaluation of the country’s reform progress and the concrete results achieved on its integration path.
The Speaker of the Parliament reiterated Albania’s steadfast commitment to implementing reforms and advancing toward full EU membership.
