TIRANA, June 1 /ATA/  June 1st, International Children’s Day, represents a significant occasion dedicated to the promotion of children’s rights and their overall well-being.

This observance is rooted in global initiatives for the protection of children, reinforced by the adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child (1959) and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989) by the United Nations.

Prime Minister Edi Rama today shared on social media the invitation to visit the Fun Fair Albania exhibition, on this June 1st.

Since May 29, Tirana has been transformed into the capital of children’s entertainment with the organization of the “FUN FAIR ’26” exhibition, an event that comes in its second edition in the format of a three-day fair in Albania.

During the days of the fair, children are introduced to exhibitions featuring paintings and installations, creative and entertaining games, as well as various artistic activities.

On the magical stage of Fun Fair, throughout the three days, a special program is being presented with artistic performances prepared especially for children.

The activity comes as a collaboration between the relevant institutions and is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports (MTKS) and the Municipality of Tirana.
