TIRANA, May 30/ATA/ In his address to the Democratic Party’s National Assembly, Chairman of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha emphasized the critical need for rejuvenating this political force.
Addressing the supporters of the Democratic Party, Berisha stated that he would never lead without believing in victory. Berisha noted that the Democratic Party meets at this Assembly having successfully delivered on its fundamental promise to protect the vote.
“”We are no longer on the defensive—we are in the final sprint to victory. As we approach the finish line of this marathon, we face defining responsibilities. Our foremost obligation, which we owe to both the Democrats and the Albanian people, is renewal,” said Berisha.
According to him, “The renewal of the party is and should be our great work.”
“It must be our duty to renew Albania tomorrow. It must be our duty to restore the free vote to Albanians. The renewal of the DP presupposes, first of all, vision.
“I can confidently say our vision is unmatched, yet government-controlled media bombards the public daily with a synchronized narrative that the DP lacks a program. We aren’t just fighting the government; we’re fighting their relentless propaganda”, said Berisha. /m.m/p.s./
