TIRANA, May 29/ATA/ The 3rd International Two-Day Scientific Conference, Water as a Source of Energy and Environmental Protection: Balance Towards a Sustainable Future, is currently underway in Prishtina.
This event is organized within the framework of institutional cooperation between the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo and the Academy of Sciences of Albania.
The conference brought together renowned researchers, experts in the field and representatives of scientific institutions from Albania and Kosovo.
The main topics of the conference proceedings include water resources and energy potential in the region, renewable energies and energy conservation strategies, advanced technologies for water treatment and the elimination of pollutants, as well as integrated water management in function of sustainable development.
Prof. Zydi Teqja, member of the “Water Resources” unit at the Academy of Sciences of Albania, delivered the keynote address.
The conference proceedings continue with the platform for policy-making and strategic recommendations in the management of water resources in the Albanian space. /r.e/a.f/p.s./
