Ibrahimaj: Several Albanian Post branches damaged, citizens can access services at other offices

TIRANA, Oct 16 /ATA/ Minister of Economy and Innovation Delina Ibrahimaj visited one of the Albanian Post branches in Tirana that was damaged during acts of violence at the protest.

Ibrahimaj stressed that several branches had sustained damage.
“I am here on one of the main streets of Tirana, and behind me is an Albanian Post branch that has been damaged. Several branches here have been affected. Citizens use these branches every day to access services: pensioners collect their pensions and the income they need to make a living,” the minister said.

Ibrahimaj stressed that despite the damage caused to public property, services for citizens would continue uninterrupted.
“I want to assure all citizens that, despite the damage to public and private property, we remain committed to ensuring they continue to receive their everyday services,” the minister said.

She said pensioners and other citizens who rely on the damaged branches could access services at other Albanian Post offices.
“Despite the destruction we see behind me, pensioners can go to any of the other branches to collect their pensions. We are committed to ensuring that public order, security and services for citizens are maintained without interruption, regardless of the events unfolding in the city,” Ibrahimaj said.

“Citizens’ safety and the uninterrupted delivery of services remain our top priorities,” Ibrahimaj stressed.
