TIRANA, May 14/ATA/ President Bajram Begaj hailed the newly adopted Assembly resolution as an appropriate response to the European Commission’s 2025 Progress Report and the European Parliament Committee’s findings, acknowledging both the swift pace of reform and the work ahead.
“This resolution represents the only viable path forward: fostering cooperation, compromise and consensus to achieve our national objective”, Begaj wrote in social networks.
According to him, the resolution confirms a serious commitment to comprehensive national, democratic, and socioeconomic reforms.
“I welcome this priceless act of Parliamentary cooperation”, concluded Begaj.
The resolution adopted this afternoon in the Assembly provides for comprehensive cooperation and joint commitment to advance Albania’s accession process to the European Union.
It emphasizes the need for comprehensive political and social dialogue, with the aim of guaranteeing a national consensus on European accession priority. /p.s./
