TIRANA, April 15 /ATA/ The EU Delegation in Tirana hosted on Wednesday a frank and open discussion between EU Member States’ ambassadors to Albania and Jorida Tabaku and Oerd Bylykbashi from the Democratic Party, according to sources from the EU Delegation office in Tirana.
According to same sources, the participants exchanged views on key bipartisan reforms, such as electoral and territorial reform, and also on democratic participation in the EU integration process of Albania.
“A transparent and inclusive legislative process in Parliament through active and constructive engagement by all parliamentary groups and meaningful consultations with civil society representatives is essential for Albania to adopt sustainable reforms for the benefit of its citizens,” said Silvio Gonzato, EU Ambassador to Albania.
