TIRANA, April 12/ATA/ The city of Korça inaugurated the region’s first-ever international Easter egg exhibition.
The exhibition “The Code of Life” by Maria Shukulli, opened on April 4 at the “Guri Madhi” gallery, attracted hundreds of visitors from Korça, as well as foreign tourists who are in the city these days to celebrate Easter.
Visitors had the opportunity to see unique, handmade models, featuring traditional colors such as the symbolic red of Easter, but also contemporary designs that add a new spirit to this ancient tradition.
This rare collection, curated with dedication for more than a year, brought to Korça the works of young artists from various countries of Eastern Europe, such as Ukraine, Poland and Romania, giving the exhibition a broad international dimension.
The exhibition is distinguished by the fact that it does not simply present decorated eggs, but works of art that carry deep symbolism.
Authentic, wax-resist techniques meet organic dyes in this inaugural, one-of-a-kind exhibition.
The “Code of Life” exhibition is open even today, while it is aimed at becoming an annual tradition. /k.s/ /a.g/p.s./
