TIRANA, April 2 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama, also leader of the Socialist Party, stated today that for the first time in our history, Albanians are experiencing an unprecedented, historic opportunity to integrate into the European family.
During the meeting with the Assembly of the Socialist Party in the Municipal Unit No 14 in the capital, Rama said that, “For the first time, we have concrete, geopolitical support from all major powers, not just empty words. This is our defining moment to finally join the European club.”
“This window of opportunity is closing fast; we cannot afford to miss this moment,” said Rama.
The prime minister also pointed at the opposition comparing it with the opposition in other countries. And he said that, “There is political war in many other countries, but opposition in North Macedonians have never done the same to the people of North Macedonia”.
“We have no time for those trying to damage Albania’s future. They are wasting an historic opportunity that fate has provided us, defying a future that has never before looked this bright,” he said.
Finally, Rama said that European integration links our future to our own efforts, while institutions guarantee our fundamental rights. /e.i/a.f/p.s./
