Albanian and Greek elite police units hold joint training in Tirana

TIRANA, March 15 /ATA/ – Albania’s elite police unit RENEA and Greece’s EKAM conducted a joint training exercise in Tirana on Sunday, aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise in law enforcement and anti-crime operations.

Prime Minister Edi Rama praised the role of RENEA officers, describing them as symbols of discipline, courage, and sacrifice, consistently at the forefront to ensure public safety.

“RENEA and EKAM, the elite police units of Albania and Greece, came together in Tirana for this exercise. These professional men and women protect life with their own lives and are present wherever public order and safety are at risk,” Rama said, sharing footage from the training.

The exercise was not only practical in nature but also part of a broader effort to build trust and share operational experience between the two countries’ elite forces.
