TIRANA, March 14/ATA/ During his visit today to Elbasan on occasion of the Summer Day, Chairman of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha held a meeting with representatives of Elbasani families to express his congratulations on the traditional holiday and share messages about the political situation in the country.
Berisha appreciated Elbasan as a city with a significant role in Albanian history and culture, also highlighting the tradition of the Summer Day celebration.
As a symbol of hope and renewal, Berisha highlighted that Elbasan’s unique festivities make it the true home of this nation-wide celebration.
According to him, Albanians celebrate this holiday at a special political moment, while adding that, “Certain circumstances last week have influenced the country’s European integration process”.
“Summer Day represents a season of change and renewal while we march with confidence so that the next Summer Day finds us better on our way toward fulfilling the European dream”, said Berisha.
