TIRANA, March 14 /ATA/ Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha received today Ambassador of Spain to Albania Gabriel Cremades Ventura.
During the meeting, Hoxha positively assessed Spain’s support for Albania’s accession process into the European Union.
“Building on 40 years of Albania-Spain diplomatic relations, we reaffirmed our shared resolve to strengthen our enduring friendship and cooperation,” emphasized Hoxha.
The minister also took the opportunity to announce that next week he will pay an official visit to Spain, which according to Hoxha, “will contribute to the promotion of bilateral cooperation and the further rapprochement of our countries.”
“Cooperation opportunities are increasing, not only in tourism, where Meliá Hotels International has spearheaded the expansion of Spanish hospitality, but also in renewable energy, infrastructure, agro-industry and other sectors with great potential for partnership”, emphasized the minister. /m.q/a.f/p.s./
