TIRANA, March 13/ATA/ The ‘From Our Land to Your Table’ agricultural products fair opened today in Elbasan, showcasing local produce and supporting local farmers.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development organizes the fair for the first time to promote local products and the work of Albanian farmers, within the framework of Summer Day.
The fair takes place in the “Elbasan Arena” square and will remain open on March 13 and 14, bringing together over 45 entities, farmers, agro-processors and artisans from different areas of the country, who showcase their quality “Made in Albania” products, offering the citizens the tastes and tradition of local production.
“Today, there are over 45 entities in this fair here, from beekeepers and fruit and vegetable producers to agro-tourism in Elbasan region. The citizens who will be part of this activity will not only have the opportunity to taste the products exhibited here today, but also to take them to their tables in every home,” said Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Andis Salla.
The political leader of the Elbasan region Arbjan Mazniku, Mayor of Elbasan Gledian Llatja, as well as lawmakers of Elbasan region visited the stands of local producers and got acquainted with the exhibited products from very close.
The fair offers cultural and entertainment activities for all. There will be performances by folk dance groups, activities for children and visits to the stands of local producers, creating a festive atmosphere on the eve of Summer Day. /gj.m/j.p/p.s./
