Multifunctional TOK Centre provides psycho-social services in Kavaja

TIRANA, March 1 (ATSH) – The Multifunctional TOK Centre in Kavaja is providing psychological and social services to the local community, with a focus on women and families in need.

Established under a European Union social care initiative, the centre also offers after-school programmes and support services for residents of the Kavaja municipality.

Prime Minister Edi Rama on Sunday shared footage on social media highlighting activities at the centre, which aims to strengthen the role of women in society.

Kejsi Toska, a social coordinator at the TOK Centre, said the initiative responds to community needs. She said children attend after-school sessions for homework assistance and educational, creative and sports activities.

The centre also provides psycho-social counselling and positive parenting sessions, aimed at improving parent-child relationships and supporting families, Toska added.
