Berisha: PM Rama is putting EU integration process at risk by protecting Balluku

TIRANA, February 6/ATA/ Chairman of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha stated today that the the country’s integration into the European Union is under threat because of the ruling majority extending protection to Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

During a press conference, Berisha stated that, “Edi Rama, in flagrant contradiction with all the commitments that stem from the integration process, is proving that for the interests of his power he is capable of making any decision, despite completely blocking the EU integration process”.

According to Berisha, the only way out is a peaceful uprising on February 10.

“February 10 is the day of every citizen; it is the day of dignity, courage, bravery, and determination to take fate into one’s own hands”, Berisha added.

“We have been informed about developments in the European Chancellery and in the EU, but we are sure that regardless of the decisions, no one will come to remove him; we will remove Edi Rama from office.

This has always been our stance”, said Berisha.

According to him, the undoing of the integration process puts Albania in a completely different orbit. /m.m/r.e/a.f/p.s./
