TIRANA, Feb 2 /ATA/ – Members of Albania’s Land Force Light Infantry Battalion have completed “Call for Fire – Artillery” training in cooperation with the New Jersey National Guard in the United States.
Defence Minister Pirro Vengu said Monday the training aimed to enhance operational capabilities, interoperability and the adoption of advanced NATO standards, further strengthening the professional capacity of Albania’s Armed Forces.
During the programme, participants trained in modern command, communication and coordination techniques under realistic operational conditions, while exchanging professional experience with their U.S. counterparts.
The exercise underscores Albania’s continued efforts to boost the professional and operational readiness of its armed forces and to deepen its strategic partnership with the United States in support of regional and collective security.
