TIRANA, February 1 /ATA/ The Northern city of Shkodra is a promising destination for tourists and short-term rentals.
Mayor of Shkodra Benet Beci shared in the social media a report published by “Monitor” business magazine emphasizing that the data shows a crystal clear path to success for the city.
“A new rising star”, Shkodra – this is how “Monitor” magazine entitled the section on Shkodra in its analysis of Airbnb data on vacation rentals.
“There is a growing number of tourists, satisfactory revenues and a double of available units in just one year. At the same time, the increase in the number of active businesses makes the picture even more encouraging for the local economy in Shkodra,” wrote Beci, referring to the figures published by the magazine.
Beci added that, “These data may not fit the narrative of some opposition MP who talks about “massive closures” of businesses in Shkodra, but this is not our problem.”
Beci added that the facts are stubborn since Shkodra is an up-and-comer city which has just started its journey towards success and has every reason to believe that it will achieve its deserved success.
