TIRANA, January 30 /ATA/ President Bajram Begaj participated in the event of the Hellenic Business Association in Albania on occasion of “Vasilopita Day”.
Begaj highlighted there a new dynamic of economic cooperation between Albania and Greece through the promotion of joint projects.
Begaj added in his speech that, “There are opportunities to further broaden our investment partnership”.
Head of State assured that, “Albania offers a solid ground for every investor”.
In this regard, Begaj listed the facilities that Albania offers, with emphasis on the dynamic economy, stable currency, healthy banking sectors and public debt that is being carefully managed.
Head of State praised the role of elite companies, which operate in the most strategic sectors of our country.
Begaj stated that, “The presence of Greek investors in areas such as: the banking system, energy, industry, construction and trade, constitutes an important pillar for our economic sustainability and testifies to the mutual trust built over the years”.
“The support of friendly Greece in our integration process is evidence of a sincere friendship, which is being rendered into an increasingly close economic cooperation. In the field of trade, there are encouraging developments. Greece continues to remain one of our main partners, ranking at the forefront of exchanges of goods and services. We have a continuous increase in mutual exports, which shows that our markets are becoming increasingly complementary to each other”, underlined Begaj.
President Begaj also praised the Greek business in Albania for its engagement in public dialogue and in improving the regulatory framework as evidence of the partnership of Albania’s progress. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
