TIRANA, January 19/ATA/ Head of the Constitutional Court Fiona Papajorgji received today Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Albania Reinout Vos at the premises of this court.
The Constitutional Court said that during the meeting, they expressed their considerations on the progress made by Albania after implementation of the comprehensive reform in the justice system, as well as on the role played by the Constitutional Court in consolidating the rule of law and strengthening democracy in the country, as two key elements for the process of Albania’s integration into the European Union.
Papajorgji confirmed the commitment of the Constitutional Court to develop a constructive dialogue with international partners and strengthen its active role in promoting high constitutional standards, in accordance with European and international practices. /m.q/j.p/p.s./
