TIRANA Jan 15 /ATA/ The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Andis Salla, currently on an official visit to Germany, took part in a meeting with European partners in the framework of the “EU4FoodSafety” project. This initiative is considered one of the most strategic efforts for meeting the requirements of Chapter 12 in the EU accession negotiations.
Minister Salla informed that during the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening the food safety system, enhancing institutional capacities, and modernizing food businesses in accordance with EU standards—key steps for European integration and consumer protection.
“With the support of the EU and German development cooperation, we are making tangible progress and strengthening Albania’s path towards the single European market,” he stated.
