FM Spiropali visits Kyiv, pays tribute at “Wall of Remembrance”

TIRANA, Jan 15 /ATA/ – Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, on Thursday arrived in Kyiv on an official visit to Ukraine, where she was received by her Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sybiha.

Spiropali and Sybiha paid tribute at the “Wall of Remembrance”, a powerful memorial honoring those who fell defending Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty.

Foreign Minister Spiropali said remembering their sacrifice serves as a source of inspiration for the Ukrainian people’s resilience in the face of Russian aggression.

The visit aims to reaffirm Albania’s steadfast support for Ukraine, as the country continues to face relentless attacks on critical infrastructure and civilian areas, particularly under harsh winter conditions.

It underscores Albania’s commitment to stand with Ukraine, supporting its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
