TIRANA, January 13/ATA/ A new Stray Dogs Center is opened in the Municipality of Korça. This is an important investment aiming to improve animal welfare and enhance community safety.
Mayor of Korça Sotiraq Filo shared in the social media views of the premises where the stray animals will get accommodated. He appreciated the center has a considerable capacity and offers suitable conditions for the treatment of stray dogs, according to established standards.
“The dogs are vaccinated, fed regularly and kept in suitable conditions by a specialized staff, especially during these cold days, when care is even more necessary,” said Filo.
He emphasized that this center contributes not only to improve the living conditions for the animals, but also to guarantee a safer environment for citizens.
In this context, the Municipality of Korça called on residents, animal protection organizations and all animal lovers to contribute if they wish for the care of stray dogs or even adopt them, offering them a family and a warm environment.
