Berisha: Rama attacked judiciary for his own interests

TIRANA, January 11/ATA/ Chairman of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha reacted in the social media to Prime Minister Edi Rama’s statements on the podcast “Flasim” (Let’s Talk) regarding the need for serious reflection on penal policy in the country.

Berisha said that PM Rama attacked justice to protect his own interests and those of his associates.

“This proves that he does not accept and will not accept the decisions of prosecutors and judges, since according to him they are not impartial and are ignorant, not qualitative”, said Berisha, while emphasizing that with this stance, Rama once again admits his guilt.

“This stance is an appeal to every Albanian to stand up for his removal from power as soon as possible”, said Berisha.

Further on, the leader of the DP also focused on the situation in the country due to the bad weather of recent days. He noticed that today, “Rama did not speak about the plight of tens of thousands of citizens from Gjirokastra to Shkodra whose homes have been flooded”.

“Good for him to do so because besides the weather, another major cause of their difficult situation is himself and his ministers who are greedy and have stolen investment funds in flood protection infrastructure,” said Berisha. According to him, Rama, who has blocked the lifting of immunity and the arrest of Balluku through 83 mandates, once again attacked the justice system as impartial and not qualitative. /e.i/j.p/p.s./
