TIRANA, Jan 3 /ATA/ – The Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) said on Saturday that traffic is moving normally on all major roads, after overnight snowfall ceased.
The country is currently experiencing light to moderate rain, with temperatures on the rise.
Snowplough crews worked through the night to clear debris and rocks from the roads and to spread salt in areas at risk of ice.
The authority urged drivers to exercise extra caution and to equip vehicles with winter tires and chains, particularly when travelling to mountainous regions where snow remains.
