TIRANA, December 27/ATA/ The snow-covered mountain landscapes in Northern Albania, regardless of weather conditions, are a destination for climbers and nature lovers.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared this morning in the social media a view of the Open Gorges (Grykat e Hapta) in Tropoja, which are covered in snow, creating a stunning winter white panorama.
The Open Gorges, whose highest peak reaches a height of 2,625 m, is located between the upper part of the Valbona Valley in the north and the Nikaj Valley in the south.
Around the main peak, four other peaks rise with a height of over 2,400 m. The Open Gorges are completely bare of vegetation, making them a challenge for climbers.
