PRISHTINA, December 23/ATA/ The Special Prosecution Office of Kosovo filed an indictment against former mayor of Prishtina Shpend Ahmeti for the criminal offense of “Failure to report or false reporting of wealth”.
According to a press release, the defendant is accused of having intentionally submitted incorrect wealth declarations, i.e. cash deposits since 2018 onwards until 2022, in his capacity as Mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina.
According to the indictment, the total amount of undeclared funds amounts to 172,600.00 euros.
The case has been sent for review to the Basic Court in Pristina, Special Department. /Kosovapress/p.s./
