TIRANA, December 6 /ATA/ After the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw, where Albania learned its matchups if qualified from the play-offs, i.e. Group F Netherlands, Japan and Tunisia, President of the Albanian Football Association Armand Duka praised the event and spoke about the potential opponents of the red and blacks.
The head of the Albanian football government said that the national team’s journey to reach the World Cup is difficult, but emphasized that Albania will fight until the end so that to qualify for the finals.
“The organization of the draw event was fantastic. Only football can bring so many people together, important people in politics, very important people in the world of football, but also in other sports.
We are very happy to be part of this important event. I would like to thank the players of the National team and the staff, who have made it possible for us to dream of being part of this World Cup. Undoubtedly, our path is difficult. We have a very difficult match against Poland in Warsaw and if we win we will play a final match against the winning team between Sweden or Ukraine with the dream of being qualified into the World Cup.
