TIRANA, October 21/ATA/ The government has recently approved changes to the 2025 budget, through a normative act that aims to increase the efficiency in the use of public funds and support the country’s economic and social priorities.
One of the most important interventions of this act is the increase in the pensioner bonus fund, from 3.7 billion lekë initially foreseen in the approved budget, to 9.7 billion lekë.
This fund is distributed based on the relevant decisions of the government and aims to improve support for pensioners and strata in need.
The approved changes do not affect the macroeconomic parameters of the budget, such as revenues, expenditures, deficit or public debt, but have a reallocation character, redistributing funds within the existing structure. /a.g/p.s./
