TIRANA, Oct 15 /ATA/ Minister of Defence Pirro Vengu visited the Security and Defence Innovation Center on Wednesday.
In a social media post, Minister Vengu announced upcoming steps in the Defence 2030 strategy, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence in information analysis, the technological modernization of the Armed Forces across all levels, and the support of the defence industry through intelligent technologies.
Vengu stated that “innovation is at the core of our vision to transform the entire defence constellation into an intelligent mechanism and a driving force for modernization.”
The Security and Defence Innovation Center, inaugurated in April 2024, aims to strengthen national capacities in the field of security and defence through the implementation of innovative projects and the integration of advanced technologies, as well as to promote the development of an innovation ecosystem in security and defence.
