TIRANA, September 11 /ATA/ Socialist Party Assembly will meet today at 11:00 at the Palace of Congresses. The event is rather important because there is expected to be presented the new government cabinet.
According to the agenda, after the opening session which carries the approval of the agenda, Socialist Party Chairman Edi Rama will deliver a speech and will also present the new government.
During the meeting of the Socialist Party Assembly, Rama is also expected to highlight the milestones of the governance program over the next 4 years, where the necessary reforms for European integration, under the slogan “Albania 2030 in the EU is the priority”.
According to the agenda, following PM Rama’s speech, there will be a space for discussions.
Meanwhile, one day after the meeting of the Socialist Assembly (September 12), there will convene the new Parliament emerging from the May 11 elections.
After the vote of confidence in the Parliament, the government cabinet will go to President of the Republic Bajram Begaj for the decree and swearing-in.
In the general elections of May 11, the Socialist Party received 83 mandates, ensuring the country’s governance for a fourth consecutive term. /m.m/j.p/p.s./
