TIRANA, August 31/ATA/ Kelmendi highland, one of the most beautiful areas of northern Albania, has been attracting more and more local and foreign tourists in recent years, thanks to investments in infrastructure.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared, “extracts of Kelmendi highland” in the social media today as an invitation to visit them even on the eve of autumn.
The travel distance to Tamara is cut thanks to the road to this once almost inaccessible wonderland. The old trails through the mountains, now with international signage and tourist guides that accompany tourists to the most impressive places in the villages and mountains of Kelmendi, have made the beauties of the area more tangible and real.
Malësia e Madhe, of which Kelmendi is also a part, offers rare views in every season of the year. Investments in infrastructure combined with investments in improving the urban landscape have made some of the municipal units easily accessible, adding value to the natural landscape.
On their journey to Kelmendi highlands, the tourists have a taste of caves, canyons, waterfalls, river flows, springs, plateaus and magical landscapes.
