TIRANA, August 31/ATA/ On September 8, the first day of the new 2025-2026 school year, 30 new schools will open their doors from the north to the south of the country.
Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu wrote in a post today in the social media that, “These 30 new schools will welcome over 8 thousand students and teachers”.
Minister Manastriliu emphasized that, “The government will continue to invest in the construction and rehabilitation of educational facilities, schools, gyms and sports fields, to guarantee the same standard, everywhere in Albania”.
In all 9-year and secondary schools in the country, there are preparations underway for the beginning of the new school year.
Registrations for the first and tenth grade students for the new school year will be open on the “e-Albania” platform until September 1.
Meanwhile, there is going on the distribution of free textbooks to 236 thousand students across the country. There are about 9 million euros, which the government has made available to guarantee that students have free textbooks from the first to the 9th grade.
