TIRANA, August 23 /ATA/ President of the Republic Bajram Begaj visited Vermoshi area.
In a post in the social media, Begaj emphasized that Albania is surprising with its beauties, from Konispoli to Vermoshi.
“Gjama Waterfall and Selca Waterfall are two natural wonders that the mountaineers of this area have preserved with pure love for nature. Kind and generous is their heart, pure nature”, emphasized the Head of State.
Vermoshi, the tourist village in Shkodra region, has in recent years become one of the favorite tourist destinations for tourists, not only in terms of the mountain climate, but also for mountaineering enthusiasts.
The urban redevelopment of Vermoshi tourist village, the reconstruction of the road and the construction of the Tourism Center have transformed this area into one of the most frequented destinations throughout the year by local tourists and tourists from different countries of the world.
The center of Vermoshi has been completely transformed. There, the once dilapidated traditional alpine houses have now got transformed into welcoming guesthouses for visitors.
The renovated guesthouses give this area a look similar to the alpine guesthouses of Switzerland.
The largest village in the Albanian Alps, Vermoshi, is located in a valley of glacial origin, at an altitude of 1100 meters above the sea level.
