TIRANA, August 12 /ATA/ Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha has strongly condemned any act of arson attack that endangers the lives, health and property of citizens, emphasizing that the perpetrators will face justice without any tolerance.
“There are 125 people prosecuted for arson and over 22 people arrested, so far”- stated Hoxha.
In a post in the social media, Minister Hoxha stated that the hot weather favors the spread of flames, increasing the risk of irreparable consequences.
“Law enforcement agencies must react immediately, decisively and without any tolerance, against any perpetrator of criminal acts like arson attacks. We put the priority on investigation and punishment of arsonists and no one will escape justice”, emphasized the minister.
He called on citizens to show full responsibility, to avoid any action that could cause a fire and to report to authorities if they find any fires. /a.f./p.s./
