TIRANA, June 22 /ATA/ The summer tourism events calendar has once again been integrated this year into the TEA (Tourism Events of Albania) application.
Today, the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, encouraged all interested individuals to download the application to stay informed and ensure they do not miss any of the tourism activities taking place throughout the country.
Minister Kumbaro underscored that TEA is an Albanian-developed application that extends the reach of tourism beyond national borders, noting that its user base spans 126 countries worldwide.
“TEA accompanies those who seek to discover Albania wherever they may be, which accounts for its users coming from 126 countries across the globe. Albania is not merely a destination but an experience that stays with you wherever you go,” Minister Kumbaro affirmed.
The TEA application this summer season offers an enhanced and more comprehensive experience for all those who wish to explore the natural and cultural beauties of the country.
The most recent version of TEA, the 360° Digital Guide for Tourism in Albania, offers comprehensive features including detailed information on public and private beaches along the entire Albanian coastline; high-quality images, descriptive content, and accurate coordinates for each coastal destination; functionalities enabling users to report violations or concerns, thereby positioning the application as a collaborative platform between tourists and relevant institutions; a calendar of cultural, sporting, and traditional events aimed at promoting the multifaceted nature of tourism in Albania; and practical utility services designed to assist tourists in effectively planning and navigating their travels throughout the country.
