TIRANA, June 20/ATA/ Chairman of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha spoke today in a press conference about the electoral process in the Diaspora and emphasized that, “The elections were manipulated”.
Berisha said that, “There are irrefutable documents that prove the ugly constitutional electoral crime, its extreme manipulation, the nationalization of the Diaspora voting process through the most major corrupt acts ever known”.
Berisha said that he is confident that the Diaspora will engage against the government and will contribute to restoring the right to vote of Albanian citizens.
The leader of the DP said that, “We are in the phase of documenting the electoral farce, then we shall launch all the necessary forms of protests in Albania and in the world”.
Responding to questions from journalists, Berisha said that, “The country cannot have a real opposition without restoring the free vote”. /m.q/j.p/p.s./
