TIRANA, April 22 /ATA/ – The Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation actively supports employment of job-seekers from the vulnerable sections of the population and creation of opportunities for their productive employment within the formal labour market.
The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja shared official data on employment of jobless people from the vulnerable societal groups.
According to Gonxhja, a total of 20,810 beneficiaries from the vulnerable groups across Albania took a job through mediation, vocational and professional training and employment promotion programmes in 2024.
“The reformed employment promotion programmes are becoming real bridge towards integration into the labour market,” Gonxhja wrote on the social media.
According to him, concrete and structured programmes are underway in 2025 to assist young people, women, and persons in need and long-term unemployed individuals in their efforts to find a job.
Gonxhja noted that the programmes focus on social inclusion, equality and empowerment through employment.
