TIRANA, March 12/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama inspected today the construction site of the Faculty of Professional Studies, which is being built from scratch, part of the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës.
Accompanied by Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastiriliu, PM Rama closely observed the works at this construction site where there are planned to be built 30 auditoriums, 15 scientific laboratories, conference rooms as well as recreation areas like sports fields, a swimming pool and a park.
The development of the campus will continue with a residential complex to accommodate students coming from other districts.
Speaking about this investment, Manastirliu emphasized that it will radically change the quality of teaching in professional studies.
The minister also said that the professional branches at this university are on demand, while adding that over 1,700 students benefit from this new investment, which paves the way for another investment, i.e. a dormitory for the students.
“On both sides of the campus, there are made investments in sports such as the “Manchester City” academy and the “Rafa Nadal” tennis academy. The area becomes a real complex of services not only educational, but also educational and sports that serves students and beyond,” she said.
PM Rama announced that there have been held discussions to have a special investment program dedicated only to the students. /p.s./
