TIRANA, March 12 /ATA/ Sali Berisha, the Democratic Party chairman, stated on Wednesday during the party’s National Council meeting, “The DP enters this campaign following a series of Herculean battles, but with the strongest foundation for a historic victory.”
In his speech, Berisha highlighted, “We embark on the battle for victory with a considerable moral edge, a strong advantage in our candidates, a solid programmatic advantage, and broad public and international support.”
Berisha said, “These are the most powerful foundations for a historic victory for the DP on May 11, a victory that has already started to reverberate worldwide.”
Berisha stressed, “The resolve of the activists, militants, leaders of the DP, and its deputies in opposing a dictatorial regime founded on crime, drugs, and the plundering of the Albanian people’s wealth is an epic struggle in the history of our nation for freedom.”
